Process Simulator Licensing Technology
How to license Process Simulator from version 10.5.0.4231!
New licensing technology
The ProModel Corp. has been working on a better solution for licensing and has stopped using serial numbers and USB keys for licensing with the current release.
With the update to Process Simulator 10.5.0.4231, your previous serial numbers or USB keys will no longer work going forward.
All customers that are current on Maintenance & Support agreement will simply install the software on their machine and create a user account which they will then log in with.
The following describes the procedure for creating your account for the new licensing system.
For those of you who already created a new ProModel account with ProModel or MedModel, you do not need to repeat this procedure. Simply install the new Process Simulator update and Login using the account you already created.
Process Simulator must be licensed
- If you purchased a license, you will log into the software after the installation process (requires to be online)
- License is good for 30 days. Users must connect to the internet and open the application every 30 days to validate their license.
- To move to a new machine the user will need to log out of the prior machine to free their license; this way you can move a license from computer to computer without having to terminate the license.
Additional information
You need internet access to use the license.
Customers with a valid Maintenance & Support agreement should contact their responsible GBU employee at info@gbumbh.de to coordinate the procedure for setting up the new licensing technology.
For customers without a valid Maintenance & Support agreement, we would be happy to provide an appropriate offer to update their Process Simulator license. Please contact us at info@gbumbh.de.
